The Role
- Reporting to the CEO, to
lead, develop and grow the business, in line with the agreed strategy;
- Responsible for profit,
loss and cash flow;
- Responsible for the senior
management team of 6 direct reports and a total workforce of 80;
- To set high standards, leading
by example in customer service, contract and commercial management;
- To develop and grow the
skills of the business team including design, estimating, commercial
negotiation, customer site management, financial management, manufacturing
and sales;
- To lead and enthuse in the
opening and development of new business;
- Responsible for health,
safety and environmental standards and compliance to the set standards.
The Candidate
- A strong, charismatic leader
able to inspire the team and possessing energy, drive, adaptability
and communication skills;
- With experience of managing
in a projects-oriented business, the successful candidate will have
proven & successful commercial skills, including sales and contracts
experience;
- Proven and successful track
record of P & L and cash flow responsibility;
- A sound track record of
working with others coupled with effective interpersonal skills;
- Knowledgeable and familiar
with the latest business philosophies including lean, agile and best
practises;
- Conversant with Health,
Safety and Environmental legislation in accordance with Scottish Law;

The Role

The Role

a TPM-based system of maintenance
The Role
- Reporting to the Operations
Manager, ensuring the smooth and continuous operation of the plant through
planned preventative maintenance programmes. Developing and implementing
a strategic maintenance plan for the future expansion of the operation.
- Responsible for a team of
12 maintenance technicians and 3 process engineers
- Developing and delivering
the plants preventative maintenance strategy
- Ensuring maximum plant utilisation
overseeing capital project work liaising with all site engineering services
- Maintenance of plant &
buildings and the coordination requirements for new designs, surveys,
and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery
- Plant breakdowns, work planning
for shutdowns, Health & Safety
- Management of engineering
staff including mechanically and electrically skilled staff
- Effective communication
to all departments and staff
- Identifying capital requirements
for engineering/site services requirements, including writing progress
